When I say 'the top of Google' I mean the following...
- Your site shows up in a top 3 spot for at least one specific search term
- That search term is typed into Google hundreds or thousands of times every month, and by people who want to buy your product or service
There's only one way to make this happen, and that's Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO for short) is a set of tasks designed to help search engines understand the search terms that a site should be listed for, and increase a site's importance so it gets a top 3 listing. Close
This is very different to the type of SEO your web designer may have done for you. The plain fact is, your web designer won't get your site to the top of Google (find out why) for a useful search term.

A useful search term is one that people in your target market type into Google when they want to find a site like yours.
